RE/MAX Vice President of Event Management Marianne Parker, who oversees all aspects of the four-day event, shares her thoughts on how real estate professionals can get the most out of the convention.

1. What do attendees value most about R4?

“In our post-convention surveys, attendees say they love networking and creating relationships with other RE/MAX professionals. They also value learning more about the latest industry trends, technologies, and strategies.”

2. What’s your favorite part of R4?

“My favorite part is seeing attendees enjoying themselves, coming together, and discovering new ways to build their business. R4 is the culmination of months of hard work behind the scenes – and it's rewarding to see it all come together and make a real difference in people's lives.”

3. What advice would you give to R4 attendees?

“Plan your schedule in advance to make the most of your time at R4. At the same time, be open to impromptu meetups and connections that aren't on the official schedule. Building relationships is the key to getting the most out of your R4 experience. After all, one referral from R4 could pay for your entire trip. In terms of the education schedule, attend sessions that pertain to your area of focus, but also some that might address gaps in your expertise. 4. What do you see as some of the can’t-miss sessions this year?

“Any session on AI would be a must for me. Sessions on teams would also be on my list – to learn about building a team or becoming part of one.”

5. Are pre-conference sessions worth getting to R4 early to attend?

“Absolutely! Pre-conference sessions dive deeper into topics that could help grow your business. They're also a chance to make connections in a smaller group setting.”

6. R4 can seem overwhelming to first-timers. What's your best survival tip?

“I always tell people to pace themselves, stay hydrated and nourished, and take breaks between sessions. And the most important thing: comfortable shoes!"

7. What activities outside of R4 do you recommend while in Vegas?

“Exploring the Las Vegas Strip, attending shows, and visiting iconic Las Vegas attractions like the Bellagio fountains. Las Vegas isn't just about gambling – there's something for everyone.”
